He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Albany Medical Center (Albany, NY), and a fellowship in Joint Replacement at Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland, OH).
He is certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
W. Andrew Hodge, M.D. is a world renowned orthopedic surgeon specializing in knee and hip surgery as well as bioengineering research. He holds several U.S. patents on orthopedic implants and techniques, and has published over 50 articles in prominent medical journals. Dr. Hodge has been recognized for his accomplishments on CNN News, the Discovery Channel, and Science Magazine. He was recently awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor for his international surgical contributions. This award has been given to six U.S. Presidents as well as several Nobel Prize winners and other humanitarians. During Dr. Hodge’s decade of time spent in Boston, he maintained appointments at Harvard University, Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Together with performing surgery, conducting research and teaching at Massachusetts General Hospital, he designed and directed the BioMotion Research Laboratory for studying human motion and rehabilitation. Dr. Hodge is Founder and Chief Medical Officer of BioMotion’s Institute for Mobility and Longevity(www.Institute-Mobility-Longevity.org), a non-profit organization that supports orthopedic and related research and education. He is also involved with the Center for Skeletal Aging Solutions at Scripps Research Institute where he is appointed in the Department of Metabolism and Aging. He was Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Eastern Maine Medical Center and actively involved with the Human Performance Lab at the University of Maine, Orono between 2012-2014. Dr. Hodge recently worked at Dignity Healthcare Systems in Phoenix as the Director of Joint Replacement Center in 2015 & 2016. Presently, he enjoys dividing his time between developing elective orthopedic models in Dubai Healthcare City in the UAE as well as in Phoenix supporting students and programs as an Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University.
Jit Balakumar is a highly trained orthopaedic surgeon with a expertise in lower limb surgery, namely, joint preservation surgeries of the hip (hip arthroscopy, osteotomies and impingement surgery) and joint replacement.
He is pioneer in direct anterior approach to Hip.
His unique understanding of orthopaedics across all age groups makes Mr Balakumar versatile in treating these conditions being able to offer both joint preservation and replacement options. He has a number of publications in peer review orthopaedic literature and continues to present at international orthopaedic meetings. Mr Balakumar also teaches orthopaedic surgeons, trainees and medical students.

Neil Sheth is Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. He then spent 2 years on Wall Street as a Financial Analyst in Solomon Smith Barney's Healthcare Investment banking division prior to attending medical school at the Albany Medical College. Following medical school, he completed a 6 year Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Following residency, he completed an adult hip and knee reconstruction fellowship at Rush University as well as a 3 month mini-fellowship at the Endo Klinik in Hamburg, Germany focusing on peri-prosthetic infection. Dr. Sheth has now returned to join the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania and focuses his research on bone loss pertaining to revision total hip arthroplasty, peri-prosthetic infection and the role of orthopaedic surgery in global health.
Dr Sol Quarashi works at Bella Vista Orthopaedics Australia. He attended university at UNSW and Newcastle, qualified as a doctor in 2000 and undertook specialisation in Orthopaedic and trauma Surgery through the Australian Orthopaedic Association (Sydney Training Program) and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
